You can stop calls to a number by going to your 2X back office, clicking the Calls link at the top, and selecting the Opt-Out link on that page.
If your company has integrated the 2X APIs, you can also use the API to create a button in your CRM to automatically opt out a phone number.
Once a number is opted out, it will be removed from all workflows. Even if that number is uploaded to the system again, it will not receive any further calls.
