Reassigned Numbers Database (RND)
(RND) Compliance
At 2X Solutions, we’re committed to helping our clients stay compliant with evolving communication regulations—without adding complexity or cost. That’s why we include Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) verification in our platform at no additional charge.
What is the RND?
The Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) is a centralized system created by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It helps identify whether a phone number has been permanently disconnected and potentially reassigned to a new consumer.
Why does this matter? Because calling or texting reassigned numbers can:
- Lead to TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) violations
- Create negative consumer experiences
- Waste time and resources on non-consenting contacts

The RND is designed to prevent those issues before they happen.
How It Works
When dialing through the 2X Solutions platform, we check your contact numbers against the RND in real time.
Here’s what the database may return:
- Yes: The number was permanently disconnected on or after the provided date. (Don’t call—it’s likely reassigned.)
- No: The number has not been disconnected since the date provided. (It’s likely safe to call.)
- No Data: No records found—typically if the consent date is prior to when the RND tracking began.
If the number has been reassigned, we block the call and notify you.
